You folks ever look back on the archive of previous off topic threads? Boy, what a collection of weirdness.

  2. notamobster says:

spock being the sponsor of something off topic is highly illogical.

  3. sortahwitte says:

    So…..

What’s the connection between spock and a Riviera?

I’ll think on it for a while.

  4. R.D. Walker says:

Okay, time to come clean. Ostensibly, I keep posting Abba singing Waterloo because the Democrats are about to face their… Well, you get it.

The reality is that I have been nursing a 35 year long crush on Agnetha Fältskog.

There. I said it. Now you know. So what? I don’t care who knows. Leave me alone.

    she looks like my ex-wife.

  6. Bman says:

    Ewwwww….

  7. Van-a-gram says:

Leonard Nimoy could never figure out why he couldn’t get the lucrative advertising gigs; he kept getting type cast. Does a Buick come with Photon Torpedoes, shields, a transporter or warp drive?

Of course not, so you see he just wasn’t credible in the eyes of the American consumer….

  8. Van-a-gram says:

This is an example of what I was talking about. Saw this ad with Nimoy for Time Computers and rushed out and bought one.

I spent days saying “Computer. Com-puter. Com-pu-ter. COMPUTER!”

    The damn thing never responded.

Don’t even start me on the MCI ad…my communicator never even showed up. Bastard.

    • notamobster says:

when did the time computer come out? I never saw or heard of them? I was mia from civilization for a couple years (in the service).

  9. R.D. Walker says:

I was in Des Moines all day on business but I got a call from somebody who told me the Real Revo was mentioned on the Glenn Beck radio show this morning. Anybody hear it?

  10. Bman says:

Im drinkin Pabst in my kitchen right now listening to a rebroadcast of Beck….Just tuned in so hope I didnt miss it…Will let you know. And I have paper and a pencil ready to hopefully write down what was said.

  11. sortahwitte says:

RD, When Agnetha licked her lips with that long tongue and put a shine on those bucky beaver teeth, I swore I could speak Swedish. The go-go boots were pretty fine too.

  12. R.D. Walker says:

More crap with our site host. Sorry for the shitty experience this morning.

  13. RJM says:

RD, I thought you had a thing for Marie Osmond?

  14. R.D. Walker says:

Marie? Oh hell yeah. The ABBA chick doesn’t even come close to the Mormon goddess. :-D

  15. sortahwitte says:

    Marie?
That’s very troubling. However, I am the guy asked to choose between Mamma Cass or Karen Carpenter and chose ‘both’.

  16. RJM says:

I always liked Mary Ann better than Ginger on Gilligan’s Island and Bailey better Jennifer on WKRP.

Do any of you remember Betty Boop?

  17. R.D. Walker says:

If you saw a virus warming earlier, it was nothing to be concerned about. I was attempting to make a mobile device friendly version of the Revo and, for some reason, it tripped the virus alerts. It is fixed now and you were not infected with anything.

  18. 95FLTC says:

Wow…that would’ve been one hell of an ex…whew!!! and I generally don’t care for blondes too much….

  19. shawn says:

She was a brunette, and one evil bitch. She was definitely hot, but it wasn’t worth it. Good riddance.

  20. Locke n Load says:

Well DAMN, did we get a plug on GB or not? You’d think we could have seen a spike in site activity.. Update, damnit, update!

  21. Locke n Load says:

RD, yer not a weirdo for lusting after the ABBA chicks. Harbored that same hidden guilty pleasure myself for a decade or so.. I almost played Brad SOS when I last saw him but figured that would have given me away, lol. guess the cats out of the bag.

OK, YOUR GOVERNMENT IN ACTION report:
Yesterday I turned down a load going to one Federal ‘something’ of Investigation in a far western state (that happens to be bankrupt).
Total l;oad weight: 1000lbs. Total nnumber of cartons: 1. One stinkin ATV of the Yamaha persuasion. They were booking an entire 52 foot semi for ONE ATV that they could have purchased and modified from a few miles away. the load was booked to travel 1400 miles for 2grand. Unbelievable.

  22. R.D. Walker says:

TROUBLING?! Sortahwitte, this is a 50 something year old woman. You tell me she ain’t hawt!

  23. notamobster says:

Hawt AND wholesome! There is nothing quite as nice in all of creation, as a woman who can think for herself, while being beautiful, wholesome, and modest.

    I love me a farm girl… (I married the farmer’s daughter).

  24. R.D. Walker says:

    I married one too, Nota.

  25. notamobster says:

    off-off-topic:

I got mine to eat deer for the first time today. She can’t resist a good chili, which I made with bambi… She knew I was using deer and decided to try it for the first time ever. Our deer taste like beef because they are corn and soybean fed.

  26. R.D. Walker says:

I dug Marie Osmond when I was 13 too. I took a ration of shit from my buddies for it. What the hell did they know? Morons.

  27. Locke n Load says:

Ok, see, ya lost me at the Osmonds thing there buddy. Granted she’s a 50somethin hottie but ugh, that music was some mighty thick cheese

  28. sortahwitte says:

    RD, I retract my statement.
She is hot, beautiful, smart, and seriously nice to look at.
Maybe she should bill herself in Las Vegas as the “Mormon Goddess”.

  29. notamobster says:

I do have to say that Donnie is NOT in fact, a “little bit rock ‘n’ roll” and he does not have any “motown soul”. But…his sister is still hot.

  30. Locke n Load says:

    Truck graffiti,lol.
This always makes me feel better…

  31. R.D. Walker says:

Yeah, that Donnie and Marie shtick doesn’t age well. The point, however, is that Marie is conservative, talented, beautiful and that rarest of rarity in entertainment: not-a-narcissistic-coke-snorting-whore-leftist.

Did you know she turned down the roll of Sandy on Grease because she didn’t approve of the morality of the character slutting herself up to get a man?

  32. John B. says:

The Patriot Guard is AWSOME! 200+ bikers and the HBC decides to have their protest 15 miles down the interstate!

  33. notamobster says:

    serves her right!

  34. notamobster says:

Is there anything better than homemade bread with real butter?

  35. sortahwitte says:

Homemade bread with homemade peach preserves…and homemade butter.

  36. notamobster says:

    mmmmmmm…………

  37. notamobster says:

    Top Priority A#1, numero uno!

Obama’s Top Priority from RightChange on Vimeo.

  38. 95FLTC says:

    She scares me…

  39. MadBrad says:

    A public service announcement…

Sharktopus will make its debut on the SyFy Channel on November 7th.

  40. Jen says:

Homemade bread with homemade butter, and fresh honey from the beehives we have.

  41. vanagram says:

This October has 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays. Only happens once every 823 years, so I’m told.

Chose to do whatever is appropriate with this information.

  42. sortahwitte says:

    Oh Jen,
You done flung a craving on me!

  43. notamobster says:

We need an intelligent female contributor (author…we already have many intelligent female commentors)on the revo. Anybody got Sarah Palin’s phone number?

    What say you, Revo?

  44. R.D. Walker says:

I have tried to recruit women for contributers but without success. This place is a regular sausage factory.

  45. notamobster says:

    :-)

  46. sortahwitte says:

Has anybody heard from Rude Jude and Air Force Brat lately? Maybe I’ve been enough hit or miss that I’ve overlooked. They are certainly strong, intelligent females and you know how I appreciate women with those traits.

  47. Locke n Load says:

They’ve been more hit and miss than me lately. I imagine RJ has a lot on her plate with the VFW and the elctions, but AFB…hmmm. Did she buy a semi???

  48. Locke n Load says:

For the record VAN, that bit on Four Loco struck me as a dare.
So here I am in central Florida Horse country, tiny town with tiny gas stations and WHAT do I see in the beer cooler….

I’ll be conducting a Revo-tastic science experiment in the next couple of days. Blue Rasberry, mmmmmm

  49. notamobster says:

I am hypoglycemic… Alcohol turns straight to sugar in my blood. No energy drink needed.

  50. Locke n Load says:

One of these days Nota I’ll find myself in the upper reaches of Mi and we’ll see about that. Its a tough load to find unfortunately

  51. slaphappypap says:

Shouldn’t we be asking Brad for input on female contributers? He has plenty of interesting posts on wild women. I’m sure he’d find one or two conservative-minded women.

  52. Bman says:

I was on this same road yesterday

  53. MadBrad says:

Pap, it has been pointed out to me on several occasions that my approach to women is to gain their attention, lure them in, then scare them away as hard and fast as I can. There are several theories on why this is. Personally I think it’s just my way of cutting through all the BS and bringing things to its logical conclusion without wasting too much time, money and energy. At my age I have lesss of each every day.

  54. vanagram says:

L&L– let me know how that Four Loko stuff works out. I also like this:

    http://www.watertoyou.com/Water-Joe-169-oz-PET-Bottles-24-Pack-P2.aspx

It’s caffeinated water. My techs used to use this stuff to fill the coffee maker…talk about a cup of Joe with a kick….

  55. notamobster says:

Yeah Pap, if Brad finds the woman she may be a bit too angry for our taste. :-)

  56. notamobster says:

    Gotta love the Marine Corps…

(listen to the words of this song…good)

  57. Jim22 says:

Four Loko – 12% alcohol and a 25 oz. can. One of those is like an entire bottle of wine.

Marine Corps Birthday Party is Nov. 10.

Lot of women read the Revo. I don’t know why but it might have to do with being able to get a daily dose of testosterone without side effects.

  58. sortahwitte says:

We didn’t say “ooh-rah” when I was in, but I like it very much. Great song and video. My second granddaughter was born on Nov. 10. She and I share a special moment on that day. Also, in my locale, there isn’t a Marine Corps Ball on that day. I always take a private, quiet moment to remember those we have lost since last year.

Then raise a toast to all who have served, those serving, and those youngsters to come.

Here’s to us and those like us, damn few.

  59. sortahwitte says:

I meant to say ALL services.
    My apologies.

  60. Locke n Load says:

interesting read Jim. Justice Dept will likely be the DC scandal, don’t u think? Rezko has been singing in prison for over a year now, Blago trial went abruptly into the shitter, and Daley is stepping aside for Rahm?? all very curious

  61. Jim22 says:

    LnL,

Check out the other two links I posted in the comments section on the main page – under ‘Pelosi might leave’.

    Curious.

  62. Locke n Load says:

Blago wasnt put on stand and therefore couldn’t sing, Rezco’s prison squealing has been deep sixed by the press… Rahm was all over the Blago takes and was obviously doing Obama’s bidding. He must have some spectacular information to protect or he wouldn’t be getting the redcarpet treatment by City Hall.

If you have the time start going through the John Kass articles on Rezko and Blago trial. Kass has the dirt on everyone.

  63. Locke n Load says:

i’ll get into them when i park it tonight. very interesting coincidences
