What about a meet-up location for the Fiesta? I need to book lodging as close to it as humanly possible. In fact, it’d be nice if it were within walking distance. Anyone who has ever driven with me in a large city I’m totally unfamiliar with, especially at night, will confirm that I am a danger to myself and others in such circumstances.
If I wait much longer, hotel choice and space will be very limited if not sold out entirely, and I’m not about to sleep in my car in the middle of Memphis. Can aid be rendered via e-mail to this damsel in distress? Eternal thanks!

In fact, the last time I got sloppy, stupid drunk was on the 4th of July 2009 when Mad Brad was here in Iowa. We went off to the parade with me carrying a quart container of Canadian Club and limeade. After we walked home, I decided the first was so good I would have another. That was all she wrote.

However, being good Okies, we were watching from the front porch as it passed mostly one half mile to the north. I doubt if our winds got over 70mph. So, we just got power back. Do your lawn mowing in GOLF SPIKES. Not the crappy rubber things but the real spikes..If you have any of those old 1/2 inch baseball cleats, those work even better. Every time, no exceptons, and your lawn will be properly aerated AND have mulch driven into the soil every season.

If you’re wondering, I know of this place because its just a mile up the shore from where I used to live in Florida. I used to sail the Cat up here and back to the dock at night while goofin off with the dolphins. I wonder if the bay still has dolphins.. All the old baby conchs seem to have vanished. Still loads of horseshoe crabs at migration time though. You haven’t seen one till you’ve seen a monster 19 inches arcross at the beam.
