Speaking of spelling, I volunteered to monitor the yearly standardized tests for our jr. high. (or whatever it’s now called) Last week and this I observed 4 different teachers. When I picked up all the paperwork to return it to the office, it was obvious that 2 of them could not spell. They were words that as a 4th grader if I got them wrong, my fingers got the side of a supersonic ruler.

The video reminds me of Elementary, Middle and High School growing up in Savannah. The libs had a brillant idea of busing the suburban kids to the inner city schools as part of force integration. As a result, the racial violence; all one way (Black on White) was very prevalent. I was mostly spared (thank you Jesus), but did have a few run-ins that were all unprovoked. The school was not interested in correcting the problem the forced integration created. This reminds me of the axiom: Diversity + Proximity = War.
I have forgiven; as that is what is required of me from my Lord. However, I have never forgot, and am always wise to avoid placing myself in situations where this is a potential.
I learned a few years back, to not put myself into situations where shit like that happens.
When your a kid, you don’t have a choice in avoiding the situation at school. Late 70, our school was one of the gloriously diverse schools. The school would never discipline a black student so they knew they could get away with anything. (like our DOJ today). One of my buddies was bullied for a week straight in gym class by a group. Come Friday, the rest of us met them in the locker room to even up the numbers and went to work.
We got suspended for two weeks (they didnt of course) but it was worth it. They never bothered us again.
Sad to say, that’s what it’s going to take to stop this madness today.
I was deprived of diversity as a child. We had no diversity at all unless you mean we had both Catholics and Lutherans. We had fights and bullying of course, it just never rose to the level of anybody getting really hurt.
I can find NOTHING about where that beating took place. Why? Is it fake? I am wondering. Was the victim a man in drag getting his ass kicked for using the lady’s room? WTF?
I don’t see diversity as the problem. It’s the discriminate application of the rules. I blame the school district for the racial tension and the way they would or would not enforce the rules based on color. I don’t blame the black kids, like any kid they pushed the limits of rules. Smoking dope in class, beating up other kids and teachers. If the school would have done the job they were supposed to, it would have made for a better environment.
The following is not hyperbole.
I learned very little attending public schools in Savannah, as my main goal was survival. All of my pre-college education was in schools that were majory black population. You learn quickly to either fade into the background (my method mostly) or go along with the dominate culture (my other strategy). I devoted very little time to educational pursuits (I failed the 9th grade).
The focus of my prayers at night was for protection the next day.
Once in college (barely met criteria for admission to a local college), I flourished because my attention was no longer occupied by survival. I subsequently went to medical school, completed residency and am in my 9 year of private practice.
I sometimes think of all the wasted potential out there in our public schools.
One of the guys says “That’s a man!” in the video (1:25). I am starting to think that a guy in drag was using the women’s room and the two black girls beat his ass for doing it. It would also explain why the men stand around and laugh.
If I am right, the two attackers are in real trouble now. They have a hate crime on their hands.

I have a friend with a FFL. He recently bought one(LC9) for himself and one for his wife. His thinking is in a firefight, they could toss mags to each other. Not kidding. He really likes his, but I have not got to try it. He does say it is the easiest pistol he’s ever owned to conceal. Just light enough, just small enough. Others might drag out the old 9mm argument, but I have several and 9s work for me.

Thanks. Don’t quite understand the ‘toss magazines to each other’ justification. The LC9 only comes with one seven-round magazine. If I was worried about ammo supply I’d get something with higher capacity.
Better still, practice so you can hit what you want to hit. 7+1 is a lot of shooting.
Even better would be a shotgun.
I have the LCP, which I carry every single day. It is not the stopper that my 3″ 45 is, but it is a heck of a lot easier to carry and conceal. I was looking pretty strongly at the LC9 because I really like my LCP, and 9 would be an improvement over 380.
IIRC, the KelTec PF-9 is actually smaller, lighter, and cheaper than the LC9. I have heard it said that the PF-9 is actually “too light” for the 9mm, which makes it harder to control. If that’s the case, perhaps the LC9 weight is an improvement.
I do like the fit and finish better on a Ruger than KelTec. I really wish my LCP came in stainless because spending every day in my pocket sweat is taking its toll on the finish.
I, too, have an LCP. Loaded with Buffalo Bore hollow points it’s pretty potent for a .380. It’s the same thing with the LCP, though. Full power ammo makes it a little hard to handle. The finger rest on later magazines helps, though.
Both the LCP and the LC9 come with one magazine and extra ones are about $30 each.
The 9mm is not much more powerful than what I have. I think all handguns are underpowered but better than knuckles.
